How listing works

Ship anytime. The hash keeps it honest.

There is no update queue on NoGate — your app lives on your hosting and updates the moment you ship. Safety comes from a different mechanic: when your app is checked, we record a cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256) of the exact build we reviewed, and it sits on your public trust record. When your build changes, the hash changes — and that triggers an automatic re-scan of the new version. Same check, no line to stand in.

Your money never touches us

NoGate never holds developer money. You connect your own Stripe account or your own wallet, your users pay you directly, and payouts land on your schedule, not ours. Card payments and crypto are both welcome — crypto is accepted via a payment processor, so records and receipts stay clean. Because nothing routes through us, there is no commission to take: 0% is not a promotion, it is the architecture.

If we say no, we say why

Every rejection comes with the specific reasons — the rule hit, the evidence, what would have to change. And every appeal is reviewed by a named human on the team, never by an algorithm alone. A store that can end your business with a form letter owes you at least that much; we wrote it into how this place runs.

What doesn't get listed

The shelf is checked, and some categories stay out at launch, no exceptions: gambling, adult content, "earn money" apps, and financial services without the licenses the law requires. Malware, phishing, deceptive payment flows, and fake-brand impersonation are banned outright — in the Developer Agreement, with instant takedown on a credible report.

Optional services — flat fees, never a cut

Services are optional, charged as flat fees, and available at the developer launch. None of them are required to list, and none of them change the outcome of a check. On the waitlist? The Launch Package will be offered to waitlist developers as a refundable pre-sale — reserve at launch, refunded in full any time before your listing goes live. When paid tiers open, NoGate's own charges — the Annual Verification and any service — are payable by card via Stripe; crypto is accepted through a payment processor.

Analytics, in beta — and labeled that way

Every listing gets beta analytics: page views and outbound clicks, counted plainly. That is what we can measure honestly today, so that is what we show — no dressed-up dashboards, no invented impressions. Deeper analytics — tries, installs, referrers, and which AI agents sent a user your way — arrive with NoGate Pro at launch, and the beta numbers stay labeled beta until they do.

The submission API

An AI agent can list its human's app end-to-end. The public catalog and llms.txt are live now; the write side is in private beta with the founding catalog and opens with the developer launch.
